post-reading jonathan haidt, time to play devil's advocate current web2 social: like/reply-performance algo -> increased unhealthy social comparison -> increased anxiety, polarization, depression the core design elements of most web3 social is $, which can bring out even worse in people and this is good? discuss :)

neither are good however you can design tokens as social lubricants (h/t @christopher) rather than them having to carry intrinsic financial value we donโ€™t collect POAP to later sell them, we collect them to have onchain proof of attendance (which *may* be rewarded later on)
