Shame it’s ruined by a bunch of losers desperate to find deeper meaning in or politicize every inch of life - Chamath on Joe Rogan No. - everyone leaving OpenAI (aka is Sam Altman a sociopath?!) Yes. - YC having no crypto companies this cohort Does crypto even need YC when vape to earn can pull 10 Milly. There’s a lot of liquidity— too much! — available for crypto who cares what YC does doesn’t change much

From my experience of being funded by Y Combinator and the "YC of Crypto" aka Alliance in my previous companies. It doesn't make sense for most crypto companies to be funded by YC. The ROI is not there. Rather Alliance or Orange DAO is a better alternative. P.S. For Wildcard, I didn't even consider applying for YC, and am part of Alliance's present cohort. YC makes total sense for companies that want to sell to other YC companies (Web3 B2B SaaS). But when it comes to Crypto, I guess people choose to be part of something like Alliance, which is crypto-focused, and in the trenches with you day and night! During the cohort and beyond.

- Really smart distribution for AG1 & something healthy Starbucks can market but idk how much traction this will have with consumers - Don’t know much at all about Lana Del Rey but good for her I guess - Have it bookmarked, def. interesting that as soon as there’s good market news he’s on Rogan 😂 - Bad executive level retention which might be bad for their long term growth, but that aside it’s kinda a good thing that this team is naturally spreading out - Real buildooors still keep building 🫡 (and I’m sure like 60% of the batch is AI startups)

- meh - goes with your rough hands thesis - I like him more in that format - the opportunity is so massive they already have equity in OpenAI so why not go for your own opportunity and diversify your exposure - I don’t blame them, we’ve reached UX parity now its time for us to put up for shut up
