A+ profile on Palmer Luckey, a founder i admire for his self-actualization, principled leadership, and vision the piece is long but rich with reflections worth saving, like “the one thing money can’t buy is people who liked you before you had money” tabletmag.com/feature/american-vulcan-palmer-luckey-anduril

Hmmm I do believe though, that even the person who liked you before you had money can still become your worst enemy. And money can still lead you to meet people who would like you too. I'll read on it now to understand what the person means well.

In that vein you may enjoy this piece, one of my all time favorite pieces on the often silly topic of "leadership" that speaks to the deep hollowness in professional hoop jumping to preserve optionality https://theamericanscholar.org/solitude-and-leadership/

Interesting how you got focused on the man - I felt it was article aptly describing that innovation is not evenly distributed, aka the future is already here 👀

I’m fascinated with Palmer and his company. I think he lucked out on the for better or worse though…I shared the same philosophy and it has nearly been the death of me.
