i try not to lead with the crypto part and just say it’s a new social network where you can build a brand quickly and make $$.

I've actually never felt more seen. I've never made money here. Creating and working to grow DepressiveHacks has definitely been a net loss. However, I continue to see progress and hope to make money in web3 someday from my writing and my business background.

i don’t think he’ll get sent to jail. i read all the terms and conditions, and you pretty much agree to losing $$ when you use the site. they may get fined for some of their marketing, which too closely implies rugs and pump and dumps.

thats an insane level of delusion. People use pump.fun to gamble, unless by personal fulfillment he meant feeding the gambling addiction.

when was the last time you had fun or made friends on any other social network? there is a cultural playfulness here that doesn't seem to exist elsewhere
