+1 to this. i'm not best positioned to do this, but i strongly believe there should be thriving discussions on FC about the same meta trending on CT. people to follow who do seem attuned to the meta: @yuga, @dabit3, @0xluo.eth, @coopahtroopa.eth. who else? big opportunity for newer accounts to help here

I often attempt to drag CT here and don’t get much action on that front. See my cast re “guess the bird app will be required” on virtuals the most active accts here that I’m aware of are @maretus @nikomfer.eth @roguehax.eth I think much of the conversation has been happening primarily in group chats; others might not be as active casting cause they’re too busy trading. FC also likely had a more significant drop in casting volume from folks in the know due to family time over the holidays. CT is largely driven by price and tokens. Best way to track mindshare is through Kaito and think its a pretty strong representation of what's most popular at any given time. Challenge is that these accounts wouldn't connect the same way on FC because the topics that do well here are very different (agreed with @woj.eth original cast here) I also think the people who go on @threadguy streams are a great proxy. Long way of saying I have no clue what would bring them to FC otherwise they would already be here https://yaps.kaito.ai/

totally agree with you and @woj.eth though I think it’s a bit of a vicious circle because FC is disconnected from CT so content that either refers to CT culture or flavour-of-the-week metas often doesn’t get as much engagement here I was early to memecoins this cycle and spent much of 2023-24 thinking about those ideas but the only acceptable narrative over here was that you were a Bad Person if you traded memecoins

Haha, I try to explore more meta across the entire crypto world, not just Farcaster. However, I’ve often heard people say that Farcaster feels somewhat closed off, outsiders find it hard to integrate, and insiders seem uninterested in connecting with the outside world. For the Virtuals ecosystem, a key factor is that many AI agents launched via Virtuals Protocol have Twitter accounts, making Twitter the default platform for discussions. Similarly, many Clanker projects start here, so discussions begin on Farcaster and later move to Twitter. I do hope Farcaster, as an open social network, can host conversations about any ecosystems and blockchains. But there’s still a long way to go, perhaps by fostering more Farcaster-native meta, we can attract more people to engage here and eventually broaden the scope of discussions.

All great follows for sure! I think depending on what topics desired then we could softly designate ambassadors for each. Focusing on that community and developing it with the starter packs revolved around those topics etc. If people have enough fulfillment of activities to make it worth coming over here then I may create more effective pipelines of growth via these channels (yes it's cumbersome to go to another platform) For example creating a strong GTA sub community and others (I'm thinking of @tn100x.eth, he was building GTA channels in prep of the newest game)
