Slack was founded in 2013 as a messaging service for the workplace — when the majority of the workforce was IRL. Outside of Slack Connect and Huddles, what unique features have they shipped since the workforce shifted to URL? Slack is misused more frequently than it is used correctly... and imo Slack is to blame.

Slack could definitely be more of an opinionated product to help with this Shopify had an internal video called “10 Slack Commandments” (that got taken down?!) and I wish the product had ingrained more of those principles

Slack connect has been really great for customer feedback and working with individual vendors for us! I love the ability to hide notifications within certain days and times too :) wish I could have that for gmail

eh what i like about slack is that it’s fairly flexible in how you use it. but i haven’t gotten the new home interface thing yet
