Slack was founded in 2013 as a messaging service for the workplace — when the majority of the workforce was IRL.

Outside of Slack Connect and Huddles, what unique features have they shipped since the workforce shifted to URL?

Slack is misused more frequently than it is used correctly... and imo Slack is to blame.

Frankly speaking, I haven't really paid attention to those features because I never got to use them!

agree it makes it easy to connect and engage with coworkers. the question, however, was what new features have they shipped (excluding Connect and Huddle) since 2020 that have meaningfully improved the remote work experience. any thoughts on that question?
