✨🍬🍭Any time I go to the doctor, I stop by one of the Asian supermarkets nearby (my doctor’s office is in one of Madrid’s unofficial Chinatown neighborhoods) and treat myself to a little haul. Like most Asian specialty markets, they know that the best way to make any money these days is to sell Japanese candy to predominantly white K-pop teens, and have adapted accordingly. Today I needed a little joy in my life, so I mostly went for products in Kawaii packaging. 🎀🌸💖 1. Coconut milk smoothie 2. Lipton Peach Oolong Tea flavored popcorn (China) 3. Onigiri (I always get these, this one wasn’t very good). 4. SpongeBob Grape Pocky (China)

Buying myself little treats was the only way I could get myself to go to therapy for the first few years. Until “they” took it away from me I would get a captain Kid smoothie, which is just orange sherbet, strawberries, and lemonade
