1 - I believe so, but belief doesn't necessarily mean it's true. I don't even know if I have antibodies against the COVID-19 virus or not. Haha.

1 without a doubt. I don't fault the people who were afraid to take it, though. Plenty of justification for that. I do fault the people who shamed others for taking it.

1. Yes, it was absolutely essential. If anyone say, no, covid vaccine is a scam and there will be an impact in future, then my question to them is, which medicine doesn't have side effects, can they prove that?

1 & 4 Something had to be done so it's good that we got it. I haven't really looked at the numbers much but it seems like countries with good vaccination rates fared better than countries with poor ones. Nevertheless there might've been better approaches. Hard to tell without counterfactuals though.

2. to push vaccination for all was quire a wild call. but I think the most at risk were good to get it.

2 vaccines were a gamble, especially in such a compressed timeframe. then again, other methods like complete quarantine or some stopgap therapy weren't going to fly, so that really was the only practical choice.

1 those who say 2 are underrating the happy path we happened to go down wrt non-malignant variants in a world with more cases and more mutations, we don't necessarily end up in the same place

3 absolutely fucking not. The thing that would have ended it the fastest was a large group of people taking their personal health and wellness seriously, doing things like putting down the sugar and alcohol and going outside to get regular daily exercise I do like mRNA tech though, that’s pretty cool

2. Was the right call to vaccinate, I did so myself. Did not agree with any mandates to do so.

2 the main outcomes of vaccines were saving the lives of high risk individuals and keeping people out of hospitals, which certainly helped get us out of the Covid era This would have happened naturally regardless, just with more lives lost and a longer time horizon

2. The results are pretty clear when you look county by county in the US. Anti-vax FL had 10's of thousands of more deaths than they should have based on their demographics (including age). Without the vaccine nationwide, the death count would have been way, way higher.

2. It was absolutely the right call to mass vaccinate, and it was also necessary to prepare for the inevitable next (worse) pandemic. Hers immunity would have gotten there, though, just with many more lives lost.

1 "Ending the covid era" is sort of vague though. Like, everything could have still opened back up without the vaccine, but a lot more people would have gotten sick and/or died than with the vaccine.

1. With nuance - initial vaccination(s) reduced death rate and long term adverse effects of illness. Subsequent boosters don't have sufficient data to suggest that they were necessary (because post-market surveillance is not adequate to answer this question).
