i dig deep into what my favorite artists love. but i also search by country sometimes... for example: if i like tame impala, and they're from australia, then let's see what else comes from there. found out: pond, gum, parcels, king gizzard, babe rainbow, etc.

I've noticed I listen more for the production than the performance. So, if I like a song or artist who is not themselves a producer, I look up who produced their work. And usually I find that I really enjoy that producer's solo work.

i spend a lot of time everyday sharing new songs, new to me songs, past favorites, and everything in between in the /music channel. its something i love doing. lmk if theres a genre or style you'd like to see more of! <3 if you're asking me how i find new music, its a combination of things. youtube and spotify are my daily drivers that do the heavy lifting.. soundcloud used here and there...especially for electronic stuff. spotify and youtube algos deliver me new stuff from a handful of artists i listen to frequently. a couple things to try if you're selection is feeling stale. the "DISCOVER WEEKLY" playlist on spotify updates once a week...and is made for you. this is something i try and visit weekly.. the most useful, is probably the spotify feature that says "GO TO SONG RADIO"...find a song that you really like and check out the song radio. rip to all the music blogs
