why wouldn't they? haven't seen this falsified (or verified) so it's still an assumption, no? which is cool, but what's the underlying reason you think? assuming there's 0 friction i.e, 1-2 clicks

Everyone needs a default, but if you can choose your algo (like the AT protocol offered in theory) it would be much better. I would choose one that does away with all the invisible power badge disadvantages in an instant. An open source client with pluggable algos and storage FTW.

I think there could be a proper use interface for it. some scroll bars to "tune" it maybe. If you don't like it, change it. If you don't care, keep defaults. A lot of people won't care, but we should all be able to opt out of mind control.
