TBF a well-designed launch campaign + early user incentives is often essential to solve cold-start problems in difficult-to-crack markets. Farcaster is proving to be the exception, not the rule - which speaks to the strength of product design and the passion of initial adopters :)

I generally think that big launch announcements are overrated. Ship, announce, and then move on to the next thing. If the market wants it, they'll pull the launch out of you.

Easier to pull off when you've got a direct-to-consumer, subscription, or enterprise product. For marketplace products (either for commerce or for social) the cold start problem is very real. Although, given what we're about to go through, I really hope you are right š
