Gm, I believe this is an Iris, and it's massive! Would it be possible to take it with me home and plant it? (I'm at a family members home, and they're okay with it. Haha)

If you see them fairly regularly I would mark it and split the tuber in the autumn. You will have far more chance of success since it's in full growing mode right now and you will need to give it LOADS of love to keep it going through the summer. It's beautiful 😍

Beautiful iris! Yes you can, make sure to dig up the tuber though. Generally irises are not planted deeply so it's an easy task to lift and divide the tuber to take! Lucky you! ❀️ 20 $DEGEN
