This weekend I was pruning the fig tree at the /allotment and this happy fellow was accompanying me, chirping away the whole time. Hopping from one branch to the next. The serenity of the scene was just lovely. Wind rustling leaves, robin singing its tune (probably telling me to piss off and stop cutting his perches, lol!) 😹 Rare days. 🙏

Pumpkin update! Went to the /allotment today, our "main" pumpkin is coming along nicely! Gave it a small rotation to keep it rounding off evenly. How are your pumpkins doing? Otherwise, lots of time spent pruning the fig, apple and cherry trees. The fig has grown massive, and needs far more pruning sessions this fall and winter, but it's getting there!
