I feel like i've been Robinhoodposting a lot on this channel

Though honestly their doubling down on crypto seems to me one of the bigger thematic shifts in the landscape over next few years

Arguably, though innovators dilemma is still a thing. 

The issue I see for existing startups is that all valuable protocols are open source and easily forkable. The moat for something like Uniswap or Aave so far has been liquidity/TVL, which is easily defensible against other startups but not defensible against something like JPM or whatever

is it safe to say that any and all crypto native products/companies are going to get their lunch eaten by their trad opposition at the drop of a hat

TradFi naturally has a leg up on all competition because their system is permissioned vs crypto's permissionless nature

Makes it harder for our companies to go to their world, but not vice versa

they deserve the spotlight, robinhood making incredible moves rn

At the margin it’s all about stickiness. Wonder how sticky their capital base is in a crunch. Prolly decently enough.
