anyone who's gotten a 4 year degree or worked 2 years in an industry would tell you that neither of those really makes you an expert. but somehow, doing a neurotech startup with 2 years of exp in that industry and a 4 year degree in neruscience is ok but 2 years of going heads down on the stuff on your own isn't.
