Still reflecting on the incredible experience to meet @base builders around the world this past month. Three top learnings: 1️⃣ Global builder talent is unmatched - 75% of onchain developers are non-US. The energy is unreal and Base can do a lot more to help you all grow, connect, access funding and mentorship, and get more on-the-ground support. 2️⃣ Community drives onboarding and retention - most builders started building on Base because they were inspired by a specific Base founder or were onboarded by a passionate grassroots Base ambassador. 3️⃣ Global opportunities for local needs – global stablecoins for every local currency, remittances and cross-border payments, better economics for creators, and more transparent systems, are local issues that can scale globally. Lots more work to do and insights to share. Fired up to do it. Still day one.

2yo had a really tough evening last night. While in bed, he decided something about the bedroom door was "wrong" and just couldn't get over it. After an hour of relentless crying and pleading to fix the door (we tried) interspersed with increasingly desperate attempts to draw his attention elsewhere, I finally was able to distract him with reading the numbers on my watch (he likes numbers). Ended up falling asleep on the living room floor and then I carried him back to bed. Some days are easy. Some days are not.
