"You should build this feature" "You should make this small quality of life improvement" "You raised a bunch of money why can't you also X" Focus. Not claiming to be world-class at it. Varun is much better at focus than I am—I get distracted by shiny new things all the time. But ultimately you only have a fixed number of "shots on goal" before you lose momentum (and in other cases, funding). Have to constantly be asking yourself is this the highest priority thing we can work on? And if everything is high priority, then you're not focused. Base was a no brainer. We wanted to go on EVM firstly - on EVM it is much much easier to build expressive smart contracts that on Solana. Base is the #1 EVM chain in terms of degens, volume, mindshare, everything, so naturally we went there. And AI was popping off on base. And somehow we managed to catch @jessepollak 's eye early on. He was a huge early supporter and I will be always be grateful for his support! Just build something dope and the base team will be watching.
