Yeah unfortunately I got phished by this - first time I've ever been phished in crypto too 🙈

the attack was pretty sophisticated and legit looking - it originally even used a QR code in a picture just like Dan often does. 

I wasn’t sure whether it was real initially - particularly bc Dan has been so persistent about removing phone nrs on twitter accounts.

It was my mistake for not doing my usual due diligence and being too quick to sign something I shouldn't of - I was simply just not paying attention.

Expensive lesson!

Ooof really sorry to hear this, hope they get caught and you get back your tokens!

Er well that's exactly what happens in real life - you avoid the "bad" neighborhoods.

But if you watch my next show I go into detail about how I got caught in this phish - it was a careless mistake - basically equivalent to not looking both ways before crossing the street.

Super scary as a non-tech user that even your ilk are susceptible. Did the folks that got robbed on stagecoach just say “Oh well, guess I learned not to go on that road.” It has to be fixed before the next cycle. Too many people are going to get burned, it will end it.
