/success obv. But not for just the content. I would miss the people too. It’s much more of a community than just a channel. Besides that one, /memes is actually the best in its class IMO. I regularly find the memes here better than memes or dank memes subreddits. Way better than memedroid and others also. I think it demonstrates how channels can be really strong in their class. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Chasing users fleeing another platform is not a long-term valuable strategy. Effort is better spent trying to figure out the compelling reason for people to join the network independently. If you have that, then you can use sudden external entropy to help grow. But sign ups for the sake of sign ups don’t matter.

I love @dwr.eth and co, but I'd rather hold off until we have something that is end-to-end encrypted. I also think that to get ecosystem-wide adoption, it should be federated, someone using one messenger should be able to talk to people using other messengers.
