I can never remember peoples' names until I see it written on a screen 🤪

Sometimes I'll see people for years and get fairly close (e.g. dog park friends) and still can't remember their name until I finally write it down on Obsidian or something.

i met a girl at a convention one year and she voiced a similar problem.. so she asked to take a picture of me when she saved me as a contact - made perfect sense to me..
