My aunt has hospice coming to the house & is at the end of her time here. I asked her a couple weeks ago if she would do anything differently, and she said she wouldn’t have wasted so much time worrying. And she worried about everything!

My only regret with an early death would be not doing everything I wanted to get done to make the world a better place. I don’t work for bottom lines, even if it is a nice side effect, which makes all the difference.

I have an app that reminds me 5x/day that I’m going to die. Without a doubt it helps inform what I prioritize.

Regret is not a useful way to live life imo. You’ll make the best decisions with the information you have at any given time. 20yr old you vs 40 will have different perspectives and situations at hand. Thus will focus on different areas. Best you can do is love and forgive yourself to continue to move on.

I find myself close to death on a fairly regular basis, my biggest regret would be to not have gotten more done. I think people fantasize about what not working so much means and the reality is not doing things is exactly what kills most people
