resisted being *that* person but woke up and chose violence: FC is so male coded that a) it can get tired, and b) i still spend significant time on insta + twitter for chick stuff instead of FC yes, the men here are infinitely better than the men on twitter BUT the dynamic will remain a challenge. /chicks channel plz

Heres an action item that everyone can do: Invite at least 1 woman to farcaster. Your friend, wife, mom, whatever. Introduce them and encourage them to start posting and being their authentic selves 🤷🏻 Small changes can be big changes if we do it all together 🤗

love this, AND there is an imperative step 2: consistently engage with their content to create a sense of community and connection — this is a critical value add that women seek. a lack of engagement after onboarding is a discouraging content more for women than for men.

I’ve actually invited a bunch of females but they don’t end up staying active because of the lack of engagement on their posts and common topics to talk about. They also don’t see posts from other women often.
