one idea i'm considering now that i'm hangin with y'all in crypto land is republishing some old bangers on @paragraph or something. make it possible to mint and collect them? idk if that's bad form, but could be a fun way to give new life to old writing i'm still proud of

I don’t think it’s bad form! I think manifestos are maybe the ideal type of writing to collect You can set canonical URLs for posts too so it’d still be connected to your site

Not bad form at all! This concept has come up several times and the general consensus is it’s perfectly acceptable (maybe even encouraged ) to post your content across multiple platforms. And self publishing seems to come up as the purest form, but then you don’t get the same benefits of distribution Paragraph is great because people can collect your posts, like putting a few coins in a tip jar.

Echoing the comments below, cross-posting your best writing is a great idea. We think about this all the time — how can we get the archive and history of internet's best writing onchain? We try to make it easier w/ a post import feature, shown in red box below. As Mark mentioned, you can also set a canonical URL.
