Just finished REMOTE CONTROL my intro to Okorafor’s blend of African (Ghana) science fiction. Yale invoked a young girl who develops and grows up w deadly powers. At times reminded me of the magic in Amos Tutuolas book. I’ll admit I haven’t read a lot of African SF but this was a fun read.
