I see a bunch of concerns about season 6. Note that the locking mechanism is independent from the allowance mechanism. The locking contract doesn't implement any allowance logic i.e. the allowance rules can change just like they always could, so share your thoughts 👇

This is why I haven't locked it yet, and will wait for the proper mechanism. Also the vested token from investors will be unlocked this August. It will shake the price and locked degens can't do anything about it 🥹

Thanks Garrett. And you're 100% correct - with the current allowance rules in place, because the daily pool size is fixed, everybody's allowance will fall as new $DEGEN is locked.

There's a couple of solutions people have been proposing e.g. fixed allowance tiers (e.g. @burrrrrberry) but that has the problem of inflating supply... Another option is to cap the locked amount that contributes to the pool proportion, but then you're penalizing whales if you don't offer anything else in return...

Will the allowance mechanism lock at some point?  Or will the amount locked fluctuate throughout and influence the daily allowance?    

If someone comes in and locks 10M DEGEN then it could throw off all the tip allowances if the allowances are set or locked at a certain point.
