We've done over 22,000 onchain account recoveries since the system launched last year. It's disheartening how intentions can be warped in execution. Bluesky's vision was rooted in fostering free expression and combating oppression, but it shows how critical users are in shaping a platform's narrative. The misuse for promoting despotism is a grim twist to its noble start.
