I don't think its a vibe thing. It's just a better description for the technology. Ultrasound money or even programmable money feels so incomplete. Its the operating system for a decentralized web of applications of which DeFi is but one.

Exactly. Limiting Ethereum to just DeFi is like using a supercomputer to run a calculator app. The possibilities are endless.
