Been working my way through the rise and fall of the third reich. Horrifying yet fascinating... made me realize how little I know about WW2, but at the same time I think is important context for the world we currently live in.

I enjoyed this, alt-history murder mystery novel. Found his writing very atmospheric. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4703581-the-city-the-city

delta-v (sci-fi) flash boys (from the Big Short author, about high-frequency traders) kafka on the shore (if Catcher in the Rye was 200x better, possibly sci-fi, only 1/4 through it)

The power of habit changed my life and was actually worth being an entire book (vs a blog post) The dopamine rush of once upon a time in Russia is great too

Not sure if you've read Mindset but I found it to be really great. Simple but powerful concept. Otherwise read Open Veins of Latin America recently. Very heavy and super depressing but fascinating book about a region I knew nothing about.
