it is *shocking* to me how poorly spotify desktop is designed. I am utterly confused what their designers are thinking. I use it nearly everyday, and yet could not tell you what these buttons did. This is but one example, every screen has such affordances

I click on the icon to the left of "your library" and hide that rail. usually the playlist icons are enough to go off of
