Tipping tokens across the board have taken serious hits, but pretty much any asset in the Farcaster ecosystem you want to talk about is down, regardless of distribution of supply, between 70-85% from highs. Curious to hear peoples thoughts: What brings a bid?

imo FC tokens are just a grain of sand on a beach getting hit by a (temporary) wave of bearishness. BTC n ETH will always be the gauge. BTC struggling, ETH underperforming against BTC. Every derived ecosystem on ETH universe will take a harder hit. Big pockets will run for assets they know have bigger chances to bounce back or even seek protection on stables. The question is, what will outperform ETH when tides change. I guess (NFA!) when the ETF comes to fruition ETH outperforms everything else for a while. Just out of reflection, if u guys think FC tokens are weak, take a look on OP vs ETH (and vs BTC). Sad.

Need more DAUs on Farcaster. April seemed close to break-through but since then it's just power badge accounts being visible on here which is tampering growth massively imo Social networks won't survive closing themselves off from new entrants this early. Churn of newly created accounts must be high atm.

I actually think a lot of Farcaster tokens went up during the time Farcaster tried to raise funds. After raising $150M, I don’t see the need for Farcaster to pump the tokens within its ecosystem anymore

The Farcaster space is still too narrow, cannot create enought buying preassure to keep such TVL for degen. Meanwhile the token is constantly being airdroped with tips, thus inflationary. Decisions on how tokens are distributed are taken by someone who use dune SQL queries and change rules suddenly. Degenchain is still a toychain, centralized and weak. I do believe, for an outsider, this is not a game to step in (yet?). So we must think about how to attract non farcaster people and bring new value. We must create trust by decentralizing both decisions and infrastructure. Degen should evolve and start looking behind farcaster.

Only 1 of those tokens' supply is 💯 circulating and unlocked 👀 They are all very new in the big picture, and we are still very early in the overall cycle Flows generally go from Fiat > BTC > ETH > large caps > small caps BTC has only tickled price discovery for a moment, ETH has not even hit ATH yet. My targets for HIGHER are not price based, but time based. Hold for the entire season, MUCH longer ↑

IMO all of these tokens were pumps too much, people gains too many X. And the most active traders/holders are on Farcaster, not from CT, so now when market is down, all of these tokens go down too, people are still profitable when got these tokens early.

We need a compelling reason(s) to buy more $degen per month than is airdropped. Base/L2 is so efficient that it doesn’t really make sense to hold $degen. Currently, if/when you “need” $degen for a txn, you can just swap ETH for $degen for hardly any fee. Thus, just wait until you need $degen when there’s more on the market. That’s the part that needs to change.
