incentivizing people to mint your art in exchange for $DEGEN tip thereby increasing your allowance & doing this on repeat ainโt it. you are either preying on people who need money or incentivizing people who only care about money. not sure what sort of power trip people are getting out of this. disappointing to see.

Mmmh that's actually what I've did this morning, didn't actually think about being considered negative or spammy honestly, just my way to say thanks to someone who collected a free piece of mine. Also, how is that different to tipping your drakula collectors?

good question. happy to clarify. i did not tell them they are getting tipped for buying my token. those 8 folks bought in the first 1-2 days me joining and stuck around. there was no cast saying snapshot in 10 minutes to incentivize anyone to buy my token. it was simply to reward them long after they've supported me:)

Despite not having a prelude to whether you will tip or not, your action of tipping the people who collected your art or token is what others will see and then attempt to try and do the very behaviour you detest. You canโt have it both ways.

they bought a token on drakula with zero expectations but to support me. i don't see how it is on me, that me rewarding them daysss later is something others will take and twist their own narrative around and make it unpleasant.

I agree that your intentions are your are rewarding people for supporting you, but whether this happens today or at some other point in the future, your actions are telling others that collecting your art or tokens can lead to a tip. Itโs marketing and the same thing unfortunately.
