Unfettered financialisation will never solve subjective human problems - indeed, they often make it worse as power is derived from wealth This is a common delusion in crypto, and other than being hazardous, more importantly is distracting from the problems crypto can help with

It is very naive to think that new funding alone can solve organizational problems or subjective human issues. After laying waste to much of Africa, its legacy of consulates, embassies, and firearms has not solved its problems, but has rather made them worse, as traditional ways of addressing the subjective human challenges within their societies have been forgotten, not evolved. Cryptocurrencies may have helped people believe that funding is no longer impossible, but the cultural and org. pillars needed to create effective change are still missing. We may have covered one resource for change, we are missing everything else.

The analogy I use: My kid hands me a drawing. It's priceless. I try to sell it at a gallery. It's not worth 5c. Price discovery on intangibles, esp things that have intrinsic value is a negative user experience that will repulse most normies. Never understood the "bet on your friends" "get paid to like good music" crypto pitches.
