πŸ’―, spoke with @jpren.eth about it and arrived at similar conclusions (though we haven't phrased them as clearly and elegantly). BTW found your essay on @kiwi, an app (and P2P protocol inspired by FC) we're building. Would be great if we could chat someday and listen to your ideas on how to improve it.

@polynya can you expand on the blockchain games usecase? Do you think that makes sense? If there's a single team of devs, and users have a many to one relationship with devs, how does blockchain help at all (even if scalable to millions of users)?

Love this. In terms of infrastructure, we have an overabundance of blockspace, but lack interoperability and L1 privacy. Accounts should live across multiple chains, and I shouldn't even have to know what chain you're using to facilitate interaction. Payments and ID can both benefit from privacy/interop.

interesting points re: objective money/identity, but I think knowledge should be included too. something like openstreetmap, github, or wikipedia might exist as a hybrid, b/c it will need stable incentive & consensus. the other ? is guaranteed future compute (objective agency).
