I’ve never quite understood why molly is so vindictive, only thing I’ve come up with is engagement farming

The spectrum:
- 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁: Mind open to any possibility. May have a presumption before going into a topic, but ultimately seeks the truth. Gathers evidence and counter-evidence to support a claim.
- 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗻: Engages in motivated reasoning. Won't actively seek out counter-evidence, but can be convinced that their initial assumption was wrong if they run into counter-evidence.
- 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆: Aware that they may be wrong but ignores it. Only ever argues one side, using coherent logic on the surface. Will withdraw from the argument in the face of overwhelming evidence. Attorney thinking can produce good debate if confronted with another attorney, but echo-chamber-y in the face of a fully-supportive audience.
- 𝗭𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗼𝘁: Will not shut up about what they think and cannot be convinced or silenced otherwise.
