Been trying lots of minigames lately - I'm begging you, make me pay $1 for something - anything. You capture a lot of attention and you don't create value out of it. That's the whole point. Don't fall into the Clubhouse / Bereal trap!

Counter is that most people who don’t have magic internet money aren’t down to pay $1 for mini games and apps (or even full-sized ones) so it’s better to pursue the traditional grow → monetize (likely via ads) route

Yup, we're exploring with this. Our thesis is that the lifespan of these types of games, no matter how addictive, cool or innovative they are, is quite short. So the idea of waiting to monetize later doesn't work here, the ideal is to monetize in “non-shit” ways from day 1.
