I wouldn’t say it’s owning your data but it’s not controlled by a central entity and you have credible exit / interop as well as hashes to prove you were the author of the data still a step up from web2 but not the final form of true data sovereignty

100% nor is putting encrypted data in a public protocol. Cringe when I heard people say creators can own their audience. No, we follow you. You don’t own that. Will we get to a point where the Oldest proof of existence (hash & timestamp in source of truth) that includes possession (signature) is the definition of ownership?
