100% nor is putting encrypted data in a public protocol. Cringe when I heard people say creators can own their audience. No, we follow you. You don’t own that. Will we get to a point where the Oldest proof of existence (hash & timestamp in source of truth) that includes possession (signature) is the definition of ownership?

This is actually something we (Pinata) are betting will happen. Adjudication of disputes would still need to go through a third party, but timestamps and signatures *should* help.
