It’s a meta religion. All popup cities and new city projects are essentially religious. That’s why, while I broadly approve, I’ll never quite be on board as a committed participant

I think it’s a very young industry where remote is accepted. Getting paid across countries is built into the platform. Density of people willing to try new things. I also think “running things together” is a core concept which translates well to shared structures like pop-up communities. @simonapop got some speculation to add?
