I think there is a mistake with the numbers. Should be 0.25% of the next 589191 have a powerbadge. Still incredible low number.

How many FIDs are bots? How many FIDs have posted at least once per 3 days over the last 2 weeks? It’s so weird it’s that exclusive. Like almost all the content i see comes from PB accounts. Like an aristocracy that rules warpcast.

@ryya wrote an excellent article about badges (below), not sure if you saw it. she calls these people "the inner circle" and there is an assumption they're exclude from a the day to day volatility. Wow Pichi, this is startling. I had one of our devs pull the report, but that was over a month ago when it was over 5k. Sounds like they purged a lot of people and are using different criteria since so many established people have been losing badges.

My guess is it is skewed to the lower FIDs because those are the group that started, built, fostered FC, and there’s a consideration given to who interact with your content. So if you got a PB early and like your friends stuff, then your friend is more likely to get their own PB. Or just have fun and not sweat it.

There are very few Japanese/Korean PB holders out there. I know the algorithm seems biased against non-English speakers, but it's definitely hard to get one, especially for us. I'm not sure how to feel about this, but for now, we might just have to follow the algorithm's rules. 😓

I think it is good in itself that the early members who have supported the growth are given preferential treatment. The problem is that the current algorithm makes it extremely difficult to acquire badges later on, since the cast itself is invisible to members without badges.
