Friday is going to be quite the day on Farcaster. I’m excited to see so many of my community members who’ve been labeled as spam have a shot at being seen. I wish you all the best of visibility in channels. I’m also excited that everyone will get to see the true spam problem on Farcaster. Warpcast has sheltered you from the worst of it and you’ll see the unadulterated reverse chronological feed of your worst nightmares when the changes go live. May the odds be ever in your favor.

I have not been paying close enough attention to the specifics, to be honest. I’m hoping most channels will still be easily accessible at no cost. Despite being here for over a year, I feel like I’m still discovering new channels every day!

How does it work? Is this change good, or does it decrease user interest in Farcaster? I don't know what perspective they are looking from, I just hope this is something good and right to do by Farcaster.

I am not sure how I feel about these changes. I think channel discovery is going to be more difficult, and, of course they are about to get a lot more expensive to participate in too so posting may go way down. On the other hand, maybe it will increase the quality of posts. Just not sure till I see it in action.

so spammers won't be hidden from channel feeds? is that just for moderators to see them or everyone in the channel will be able to see them?

I noticed I got less attention indeed. I just hope I don’t have to spend too much for my favorite channels. I have many subs on channel that I never used tbh but for my favs I can’t really miss them. Good luck 🍀 all of us
