I love the "Six Memos for the Next Millennium" by Italo Calvino. The "memos" are lectures on certain literary qualities whose virtues Calvino wished to recommend: lightness, quickness, exactitude, visibility, multiplicity, and consistency.

"The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield is a highly recommended book for anyone involved in creative work. This book motivates you to overcome resistance and fear in the creative process, and helps you continue your creative pursuits consistently. It’s a powerful tool not just for writing, but for creative endeavors across all forms of art.

One of the most memorable books on writing I've ever read is Anne Lamott's “Bird by Bird.” She talks about the frustrations and anxieties that come with writing in a way that's both real and humorous. Lamott's advice makes the writing process feel much less intimidating and more approachable almost as if she's right there beside you guiding you step by step
