i've had success messaging aws support, they even gave me a refund when i got billed for accidentally spinning up an ethereum node lol

Follow this link and scroll down to "Charges by service" It'll give you the charges by region. You can then open a separate tab and iterate through targeted service / region pairs to terminate resources 1 by 1 https://us-east-1.console.aws.amazon.com/billing/home?region=us-east-1#/bills

I feel for you, I've spotted the same with GCP some compute instance which was supposed to expire but stuck on shutdown... maybe revisit subscription payments would be actually good app

oh yikes, I literally have nightmares about this every time I build on aws or google. I'm always scared that somehow I have a stupid recursive loop or vulnerable system and i'm going to wake up thousands in debt 🤣 . Heres a little degen to help offset that cost 100 $DEGEN 🤣

I work at AWS and it always takes me at least 20 minutes to find what region I have test EC2 instances in as it is hidden mane pages deep in the billing report ui

Make sure you go through each region top right hand corner in your account. You probably set a test run up in West coast or something.
