I’ve had an EC2 instance running somewhere in the cloud for over a year and I cannot find it to turn it off this should be illegal

I feel for you, I've spotted the same with GCP some compute instance which was supposed to expire but stuck on shutdown... maybe revisit subscription payments would be actually good app
