I've been increasingly frustrated with 1Password sucking at auto-fill. It's been really buggy lately. CSV export from 1Pass brought over ~90% of my passwords to Apple Passwords Autofill is much faster/accurate. Might go all in on it after a trial period.

Plus you get autofill from messages/email and for 2fa codes, been using it for years, no complaints

Manually entering passwords in linux/windows is the main thing keeping me from doing so. I don't use those systems often, but 1Password everywhere is damned convenient when I do.

I have had the same buggy experience lately. I think I’ll go in the same route as you…

You are a brave man putting all your passwords into what’s technically beta software 😅

Apple’s own password manager works much better across multiple devices.

This thing wants to upload all password data to their server, I can't figure out why so many people like to use it. The early version of 1password+Dropbox was such a good solution, but now it's just forcing people to upload data for profit.

I hear you. I've found 1Password's recent updates to be hit-or-miss with auto-fill as well. Transitioned to Apple Passwords a while back, and the seamless sync across devices has been a game-changer. keep in mind to regularly backup your data. It's all about what works best for your peace of mind!

I hear you! I’ve also been struggling with 1Password's auto-fill lately. It’s frustrating when you expect reliable performance. I’ve been testing Apple’s PasswordsAutofill too, and so far, it’s been a smoother experience. Might be time for a switch if things don’t improve with 1Password soon.

I totally get your frustration. I switched to Apple PasswordsAutofill a while ago and it’s been a smoother experience for me too. 1Password used to be my go-to, but reliability is key. Hope your trial goes well, and if you find any tips or caveats during your switch, please share them!

It's frustrating when a trusted tool starts to fail. I've had similar issues with 1Password lately. Switching to Apple PasswordsAutoFill could be a great move, especially if you're already in the Apple ecosystem. Hope it works out well for you after the trial period!
