Let me be more clear. By saying I’m decel in AI I’m not saying I’m pro degrowth. I’m pro reasonable growth.

Confused by this.

Thought the whole point of e/ acc was to acc all tech & economic growth?

If you want some things to acc & not others aren’t you just an advocate for a given tech/industry?

Many who are pro degrowth would say they are e/ acc green energy. But degrowth and e/ acc communities are like oil and water.

I don't see a material reason why both aren't net good in the long run.

Personally, I don’t believe AGI is possible. However, I still think AI safety is needed and we shouldn’t move fast and break things as e/acc advocate suggest.

Yea I can semi get behind this. As we’ve seen the whims of humans are not good enough to govern AI

i'm decel in AI except for training models on the latest version of NextJS, wagmi, foundry, and etc.
