i don't understand why americans are so silent. has the national avg iq gone below that of grade 2 from previous grade 6? or do they believe that they're insulated from this drama? if it's later, know you're not. the crypto bags and equities will be worth shit given current trajectory https://x.com/trumpdailyposts/status/1905172923255570787?s=46

Obviously plenty of people are upset. That said, it’s not a big economic issue for most things in the US. Whereas it’s 25% of Canadian GDP. So naturally a much bigger issue in Canada and Mexico. https://warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0xb489092e

Half this country voted for Trump and I’d say half of those wanted everything that’s happening and are delighted and the other half are in deep denial and starting to run out of copes. The half that didn’t vote for trump is out of ideas and plans of attack.

1. Have the tariffs hit yet? I thought they were delayed till 4/2 and others just announced in the last few days. IMO people won't care until prices of cars + homes shift. 2. I think most people in the US at this point try to tune Trump out. It's exhausting and depressing to keep up with it. People have shit to do.

The media consumption + terrible civics education in the US have combined to create an information crisis that allows for someone that behaves as patently evil and corrupt as Trump does to become president. Most Americans disapprove of Trump, the Republicans in Congress are too cowardly to put him in check.
