birth and death are closely related. whether the great oxygenation event is best thought of as a birth or a death event depends on whether you're an  aerobic or anaerobic cell

I'd rather call it "The Birth of DAOs", as I think you are identifying weaknesses that can be fixed, as opposed to actually saying DAOs are dead, but admittedly that wouldn't be as engaging of a title.

tho I'm intrigued how this would affect DAO participation. More convoluted mechanisms also mean even less participants in governance (already an issue, right?)
