the hu.ma.ne product demo is so off putting and uncanny, and i am struggling to find words that explain why. is it because it feels like they’re trying to boil the ocean with their version 1? maybe the speaking style or how slow the transitions are to showcase simple tasks? anyone else feel this way?

Not to needlessly dunk on stuff like this (no expectation that founders are born actors) but the bar is: please smile like you’re pleased with your own product. That said, watched it all and somehow the more compelling for the idiosyncratic charisma.

everyone's hate for it is making me like it more. Like, am I going to buy v1? No. But do I think the future is attaching a camera to your shirt with ai that you primarily talk to so you don't have to wear terminator glasses all the time like an asshole? Fick yes.

Terminator glasses are cool tho Even better if headsets were just modeled after Robocop’s helmet if you ask me. I’d wear that everywhere.

I fully support this sentiment. I want my wearable to be even wacker though. Piano key tie. Cowboy belt buckle. Shaun the Sheep backpack. Shaun or whatever talking like my own AI Navi would be rad.
