It is just weird voting for with such a objectively bad written proposal: no good CC0 licencing just mention, not past funding mention, no proliferation clear plan just mention it will be promoted vaguely having awful past results. Personally would have understandd it and even voted for full price cost apparently 30% more if it was more clear and not so faulty.

@seneca just flexing to show who's got the final word. Cool, we see it. 😂 Although, some of us aren't exactly quaking in our boots. ✌️👀

When it comes to “aligned friends” they’re rolling out the red carpet and firing up the big guns 🔫 but somehow still forgot to mention that Noun 456 was gifted for contributions, including Nouns Terminal. Classic 😂

Wondering how many gifts we should toss at their aligned friends for a product nobody even touches 🎁😂. What’s next? Asking us to cover their taxes too, like some of our other “generous” pals?

Do not think it is a final word kind of thing from @seneca or nouners since is their votes that they did not sold and can do what they please but definetly weird precedent or else will you be given 34 eth and a 3 digit noun if people just do one winning bid on your client does not seem very competitive nor efficient and definitely sustanciates your suspicions

The winning bid was from nouns sh team lol I think the amount of 9e seems fair for the intern tho

Deam this i imagined but if you confirmed just makes me sad, i mean i am not against paying intern at all would even pay full quota as apparently this prop is 30% discount rate but phrasing and writing prop is so wrong to have passed

Bring out the big guns just to pass a 9 ETH prop? Yeah, that just screams suspicious. Pushing it through feels more like sabotage than support, especially if we’re aiming for official non-profit status. They’re definitely going to be looking at these kinds of moves.

Exactly. We’ve seen plenty of similar props get ignored in the past, but now, with folks actively working toward non-profit and charity status, some pushing these through feels like they’re just throwing up hurdles. Because yes, they can't do what they have done before under that status.

They’re the funders and main holders of Nouns, and that’s exactly how it’s going to look when the time comes, even after the rewards end.

To be clear, under 501(c)(3), founders cannot profit from earnings and may only receive fair salaries. Transactions must be fair, and if dissolved, assets go to another nonprofit, ensuring funds serve the mission.

Verbs aren’t founders (just using them as an example to clarify fairness), but we paid them over a million dollars this year. The average protocol developer salary in the U.S. is around $150k, with a range from $100k to $250k, meaning we’ve paid them more than double the top rate. Feel free to check past Nounders proposals and judge for yourself if those payments were fair. When it comes to assigning proper status, there are experts on it.
